Level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms expected in parts of KZN

The SA Weather Service has released a yellow level two weather
warning for the western parts of the province and the Midlands today.

It's for severe thunderstorms with possible heavy rains, hail, strong winds and excessive lightning.
Forecaster Wisani Maluleke says the Harry Gwala, uThukela, aMajuba, Umgungundlovu, uMzinyathi and parts of Zululand are expected to be hit.

" With these severe thunderstorms, we expect localised damage to infrastructure, settlements, vehicles, livestock, and livelihood.
Localized flooding of susceptible roads, difficult driving conditions on dirt roads, minor accidents due to slippery roads, and reduced visibility."
