Let's challenge racial complexes, says Mandela Foundation
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The CEO of the Nelson Mandela Foundation says black inferiority must be addressed as part of tackling racism.
Sello Hatang was speaking in Houghton today at the launch of the Anti-Racism Network of South Africa's anti-racism week.
"We are in the throws of building a nation in our own image. As we build this, we need to address the problems of black inferiority because for white superiority to thrive - it's given space by black inferiority," he said.

The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation is also part of the campaign. CEO Neeshan Bolton says all South Africans should think about better social cohesion.
"Anti-racism week is an opportunity to reflect on what can be done by South Africans across the board to deal with the small and the bigger issues from the boardroom to the household to tackle issues that we face," he said.
ARNSA represents more than 80 national organisations and was launched in November last year.
The network's anti-racism week will be from March 14 to 21.
The launch comes a day after Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa hosted a convention on nation-building and social cohesion in Sandton.
