At least 700 KZN police officers officially inducted

More than 700 newly-trained KZN police officers will formally begin their duties this festive season.

766 constables formally took on their roles today after the South African Police Service conducted a passing out ceremony at theChatsworth Stadium, south of Durban.
Constable Ntando Mhlongo from Richards Bay shared her excitement with Newswatch.
"I think I've earned my spot. I'm excited and happy. All in all, I'm ready to face the world. The challenges we've been through at college. and the prayers. You think at some point you're not going to make it," she said.
Constable Cleopatra Madlalose has assured KZN residents that with them around, they will be safe.
"We want to strive to serve the country especially this festive season," she said.
