A stabbing incident at a school in Nsuze area near Nkandla has left a 17-year-old pupil dead and five others hurt today.
A stabbing incident at a school in Nsuze area near Nkandla has left a 17-year-old pupil dead and five others hurt
today.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the incident happened this morning.
"It is alleged that just after the assembly at school the learners had a fight. As a result, two learners were stabbed - one stabbed to death and the second one was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect who is from the same school fled the scene thereafter," he said.
Police say no arrests have been made.
Cases of murder as well as assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm have been opened.
