Land reform: Parly ad hoc committee to come up with Section 25 amendments

Parliament says an ad hoc committee is being setup to initiate and introduce the amendments to the Constitution that will make explicit - land expropriation without compensation.
This week - the two houses of Parliament adopted the report by the Constitutional Review Committee - which recommended that Section 25 of the Constitution be amended - to enable the process of land expropriation without compensation.
Parliament says 11 voting members of the National Assembly and 14 non-voting members will make up the adhoc committee.
Six voting members will be from the ANC, two from the DA, one from the EFF - while two other member will represent the other parties in Parliament.
Non-voting members will consist of two ANC MPs, one member each from the DA and EFF and 10 members from the other parties.
Parliament says it want the committee to have wrapped up its work before the fifth Parliament's term is up.
