Lakehaven fire victims' names released

The Social Development Department has named the eight children who died in a fire last week at the Lakehaven Child and Youth Care Centre in Durban.
They are Fikisani Chala and Sandile Duma who were both eight.
Nine-year-old Ajesh Gangerpasad, 11-year-old Gabriel Mbambo, John Shusha and Sfundo Ndlovu who were 17, 18-year-old Sbongiseni Nxumalo and 21-year-old Minenhle Ngcobo.

they were sleeping in in the early hours of Thursday morning at the centre in Sea Cow Lake.The department also says it's launching its own probe into the blaze.
Earlier today, MEC Weziwe Thusi visited some of the affected families. This mother who lost her son says she is heart-sore.
"I'm in pain - I'm not feeling right. I'm in pain for my son," she said.
A memorial service will be held for the victims on Saturday morning at the Rivers Church in Durban.
