Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Ladysmith Black Mambazo is celebrating 55 years in the entertainment sector while founder and renkowned music icon, Joseph Shabalala turned 75 year this month.
As a celebration of Heritage Month, KZN Arts and Culture MEC Ntombikayise Sibhidla-Saphetha has thanked the group for the legacy it has left and the international recognition it has lent the province.
'Many of us including myself grew up listening to Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the group's legacy is indeed one of a kind. We need to celebrate and learn from our legends while they are still with us," she said.
