La Lucia Ridge shooting victim named as local accountant
KwaZulu-Natal police have named the man killed in a drive-by shooting in La Lucia, north of Durban.
He's been identified as Ranash Singh.
The 48-year-old local accountant was shot and killed in an apparent hit along Armstrong Avenue on Tuesday morning.
It's understood gunmen opened fire on Singh's vehicle, causing him to smash through the gate of a business premises.
Singh was shot multiple times and paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
A murder case is being investigated.
Those who knew Singh have been paying tribute on social media and sending condolences to his family.
Some have expressed shock and disbelief at his murder.
His family says he was a critical pillar of support, love, and friendship in the family.
