KZN's coastline warned of 'disruptive rain' by SA Weather Service
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
KwaZulu-Natal's coastal areas have been put under orange alert level 5 by the South African Weather Service.
Forecaster Julius Mahlangu says disruptive rain might lead to flooding and disrupt traffic.
Parts of province are experiencing an 80% chance of rain.
Mahlangu says other alerts have been issued.
"Over Zululand, Amajuba, Umzinyathi, Umgungundlovu, as well as parts of Harry Gwala we have got a yellow level two warning for localised flooding, may be experienced in those areas."

But he says Tuesday's rain will not be as bad Monday's.
"Tomorrow it is moderate, not as much as today. However, in the morning areas over the south-eastern KZN, including eThekwini, are still under the alert under level two warning for the morning.
"As the day progresses, it will start getting better and clearing, so by Wednesday to Thursday, we are not expecting rain across the province."
