KZN's class of 2019 ready to go

Matric pupils across the province are looking to make the most of their final year of schooling.
The Class of 2019 put pen to paper today, with public schools re-opening for the new academic year this morning.

The KwaZulu-Natal Education Department says it is happy with the way the first day kicked off.
Durban North matrics spoke to Newswatch on their way to class before the first bell.
Said one, "We've got all these exciting events, like our matric dance ... Everything's our 'last' and we just have to appreciate it.
Said another, she plans on focusing on balance this year,
"Just basically balancing your school work an your priorities at school as well as actually having a life outside of school, because otherwise - if you just burn out - you are not going to cope".
