KZN woman to apply for bail after husband shot and killed

A 35-year-old woman is to apply for bail in the Mthunzini Magistrate's Court next week. She appeared yesterday for the first time in connection with her husband's murder.
Zanele Shandu is charged with the murder of Sihle Shandu a police officer stationed at eShowe.
She was arrested on Saturday allegedly after shooting Sihle several times with his own service pistol in their home.

The NPA says Zanele appeared briefly in court yesterday where the matter was adjourned to next week Tuesday for bail application.
Police say the motive for the killing is not known at this stage.
