The four-day trade show will allow small business entrepreneurs the opportunity to network with well-established role players.

A host of international delegates turned up for Monday's Business Opportunity Networking Day at Durban's ICC.

This year’s Indaba is expected to inject over R72 million into our local economy.

Gcinokuhle Dube, who owns Loxion Tours, is one of the small business exhibitors taking part this week.

"I'm so excited because being a main exhibitor and being in the environment gives me direct access. So I'm expecting to have the interaction where they say 'hey listen to me, I know you operating I want to use your company Loxion Tours to be a direct access and not as a secondary'. so it enhances the opportunity."

Thokozani Mngomezulu is the founder of Durban Fever Travel and is also excited.

"This is an exciting opportunity for us as a tour operator company that works with organising tours in different areas. The most important part of the travel Indaba is for businesses to build partnerships. So there are businesses from different levels so for us its an amazing opportunity to build partnerships."
