Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A KwaZulu-Natal teacher has survived a shooting while driving in Mtunzini on the north coast.
The woman was shot on Thursday evening.
Paul Herbst, who is with Medi Response, says she was left badly hurt.
“It’s been reported that a single occupant was travelling in a vehicle when she came under fire from unknown suspects on the roadside.
“The lady was struck multiple times with bullets, but managed to drive to safety.”
Advanced life support medics treated her on the scene before she was taken to hospital.
