KZN teacher shot dead at Impendle school
The provincial Education Department has sent a team to a school in Impendle, in the uMgungundlovu District after a teacher there was shot dead on the premises yesterday.
Terrance Nxumalo was gunned down at his residence situated on the Lugaju High School property late last night.
Departmental spokesperson, Sihle Mlotshwa says details around the incident are scant at the moment.
"MEC for Education, Mthandeni Dlungwana has sent his condolences to Nxumalo's family," said Mlotshwa.
"The prayers of the MEC are with the family, colleagues and pupils who were taught by Nxumalo."
