KZN south coast train services now operational: Metrorail
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Metrorail says some south coast railway lines will be re-opened this morning.

"The south coast will be starting full service operations again. We want to thank our customers and the public for being patient. The contractors worked during the course of the festive season to ensure that we can open the line as soon as possible for the school kids," spokesperson, Isabel van der Westhuizen says.
Van der Westhuizen says it has taken engineers some time to assess and repair damage to the tracks caused by the severe storm in October.
"Both lines - all the way between Reunion and Umbongotwini - were the worst affected and now on both sides of the line are fixed," she says.
