KZN Social Development says WesBank payment issue ‘will be resolved’
The Department of Social Development in KZN says it's forked out over R3,5 million in debt owed to WesBank.
But the department says the transaction didn't go through because of technical glitches.
It was reported that a bank blocked the department's petrol cards due to unpaid invoices amounting to R7 million.

This meant officials couldn't fill state vehicles with fuel.
Social Development spokesperson Mhlabunzima Memela has refuted the claims.
"That matter is being handled between the bank or service provider. That issue will surely be resolved It is unfortunate that there are people who are perpetuating false information."
