KZN serial robber on the run sought by police

KwaZulu-Natal police have turned to the public for assistance in locating a wanted robber.

Malusi Khambule escaped from police custody last month, after he was charged with robbing a business in Dududu, on the south coast.
The 28-year-old has also been linked to case in Durban.
He allegedly lied that he was a hitman and told a KwaMashu resident, that he had been hired to kill him.
He asked the unsuspecting victim to pay him R5 000.

KZN police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo says Khambule has been known to visit places like Amandawe, Scottburgh, Umlazi and KwaMashu.
"A warrant of arrest has been issued by the court however the suspect is on the run and his current whereabouts are unknown.
"We appeal to anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Malusi Khambule to contact police on 031 325 4476 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111."
