The Durban High Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man - convicted of raping ten women as well as robbery - to three life terms and an additional 105 years imprisonment.
Khanyisani Njabulo Ngobese was handed the sentence for the crimes committed between July 2011 to July 2013.
During arguments in aggravation of sentence - senior State Advocate, Khatija Essack, told the court Ngobese wasn't remorseful - denying all accusations - despite DNA evidence linking him to seven of the rapes.

NPA spokesperson Natasha Ramkissoon-Kara says two of Ngobese's victims were children aged six and 13.
"The rapes took place in various areas, including Mandini, Newlands West, Phoenix and Verulam - and basically he would approach them using a knife, and on one occasion a firearm, and rob them of their money and all their cell phones, and then rape them. We are very proud and very impressed with the sentence," she said.
Ramkissoon-Kara added that she hoped the sentence will serve as a deterrent for like-minded individuals.
