KZN sees jump in virus infections

KwaZulu-Natal's registered a jump in single-day Covid-19 cases.
Just over 2 400 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24-hour cycle in the province.
According to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases graph, infections appear to be rising in KZN and the Western Cape.
Another 423 more people, who contracted the virus in the country, have died.

It takes our pandemic death toll to 73 415.
Over 13 000 new cases were picked up.
More than 28 500 vaccines were administered in KZN on Wednesday.
To date, the national figure stands at 8.1 million.
