Updated | By Lauren Hendricks
Officials say it's all systems go at the Provincial Joint Operations Centre in Durban ahead of voting day on Wednesday.

The centre, based at the police headquarters, has been beefed up with personnel from other departments.
Members from the Road Traffic Inspectorate, Transport, Intelligence, South African National Defence, and SAPS are manning the phone lines for every district.
Provincial Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkwanazi visited the centre on Tuesday morning.

Mkwanazi said they are ready for any possible threat and have identified high-risk areas in KZN, especially with recent taxi protests.
"Besides the security, the plan, deploying intelligence - ours is to engage, sit down and talk to them. We had an unfortunate incident that involved the taxi industry, and we sat down with them."
