KZN searching for gunmen after Mariannhill mass shooting kills 5

KZN police have launched a manhunt for at least three gunmen
responsible for a mass shooting that claimed the lives of five people in Mariannhill.

Two others were wounded in two separate incidents on Monday afternoon.
Spokesperson for the provincial police Robert Netshiunda said three gunmen first stormed a vehicle workshop and opened fire on three people, including the owner of the business.

"The owner and one person were declared dead at the scene and a third person was rushed for treatment.
"The same suspect reportedly proceed to another vehicle workshop just a street away and shot and killed the owner and two other people who were working at the workshop."
"The victims were relatives. The eldest deceased are in their 50s while the other two are reported to be in their late 30s. Although the motive is yet to be established, nothing was stolen through the shooting."
