KZN residents warned of damaging waves, disruptive snow
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Two level 2 warnings have been issued for parts
of KwaZulu-Natal for damaging waves and disruptive snow.
Wisani Dlamini from the South African Weather Service says another cold snap is expected on Wednesday afternoon.
He says strong waves will disrupt port and beachfront activities between Port Edward and Richards Bay.
"As well as localised damage to coastal infrastructure, difficulty in navigation for small boats, small vessels may be at risk of taking on water and capsizing because of very rough seas."

Snowfall is expected over the southwestern parts of the province.
"The snowfall may lead to icy roads, resulting in traffic disruption and isolated loss to vulnerable livestock and crops tomorrow. So those are the two warnings, and also, we have an advisory for very cold conditions over the western parts of KZN tomorrow."
