KZN records the most COVID-19 deaths in SA

KwaZulu-Natal has the highest number of COVID-19 deaths in the country.
At least nine people, diagnosed with the virus, have lost their lives in the province - since the pandemic broke out.
The Health Department says the youngest person to die after catching the disease in KZN and the country, was an uMlazi primary school teacher.
The 46-year-old woman had also suffered from hypertension and chronic asthma.

The country's oldest COVID-19 victim is an elderly man from KwaZulu Natal.
The 86-year-old was admitted to hospital two weeks ago, with bronchopneumonia and respiratory distress.
So far, 354 people have tested positive for the virus in KZN.
Nationally, the number of tests conducted stands at 1 845.
To date, more than 63 776 people have been tested.
