On Tuesday, Economic Development MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube said the first area to be prioritised would be Inanda which has the highest cases of sexual offences against women in KZN.
Dube-Ncube says the money will be spent in the best interest of women and children in the province.
"Sometimes they say talk is cheap but if we come with critical things, not just talking and lamenting and complaining. But let's say how can we put every cent of this money to good use so that we can save those lives, so that we can save those people out there who are thinking as we are gathered here, maybe they will come up with a solution," she said.
