KZN political killings: Perpetrators should be punished, says ANC
Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
The ANC in KZN says government will decide when a task team to deal with politically-motivated killings will take effect.

Provincial chairperson, Sihle Zikalala has been commenting on the latest wave of killings in the province thought to be linked to the elections.
Fears are mounting that failure to deal with the issue could lead to the escalation of violence ahead of and during the municipal polls on 3 August.
Zikalala explains what he hopes the task team will achieve.
"We expect that the police must ensure that after investigations, those cases are taken to court and prosecuted. We would want to see the perpetrators of these incidents serving harsh and long sentences for these barbaric acts they have done," he said.
More than a dozen people affiliated to the ANC, IFP and NFP have been killed in the KwaZulu-Natal this year in what is believed to be politically-motivated killings.
