Man shot dead in Shallcross hijacking

KwaZulu-Natal police are searching for two hijackers who shot and killed a man in Shallcross, south of Durban yesterday.

The 30-year-old victim died in hospital last night.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the hijacking took place on Saffron Drive.

"The deceased had returned home with his family when he was accosted by two armed suspects," said Gwala.
The suspects shot the driver before fleeing in the motor vehicle.
Gwala says Shallcross police are investigating a case of murder and hijacking.
