Updated | By Natarah Nadesan
KZN police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of a toddler who went missing in Nongoma in KZN's Zululand area to please come forward.
The mother of two-year-old Esinhle Ntshangase had taken the child to visit her father in Maye Reserve this week.
She says she left little Esinhle in the care of her grandmother on Monday. When she went back to fetch her daughter later that day, the woman told her that the child said she was going back to her mother.
The grandmother said she gave Esinhle fruit before the girl left her home.
No one has seen the toddler since.
Esinhle is dark in complexion, has brown eyes and a round face. She was wearing a powder blue tracksuit and brown boots.
If anyone has information on her whereabouts please contact the investigating officer at Nongoma SAPS, Warrant Officer Mkhonza on 076 459 4255 or 035 836 1039.
Our Crime Stop number is 08600 10111.
