KZN police question 12 suspects in N2 violent protest
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Officials from the KwaDukuza Municipality are at this hour meeting with residents who barricaded the N2 near Shaka's Head this morning.

It's still not clear what the protesters are angry about but they are said to have also torched a local councillor's house and car.
Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says a case has yet to be opened and they are monitoring the situation.
"We are waiting for the complainant to come forward and open the case. While we are still waiting, we have already taken 12 suspects in for questioning. If the complainant opens a case they will be charged for arson as well as public violence," he said.
The municipality says it will provide more details on the protest once they have met with the residents.
