A police manhunt is continuing for the killers of EFF activist Mawethu Mathe in KZN.
Provincial SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the 45-year-old was gunned down at his home in Nteke, west of Durban on Thursday.
He was shot in the head.
"The suspects are unknown at this stage and the motive of the killing is yet to be established,” Netshiunda.
The Economic Freedom Fighters in KwaZulu-Natal has called for swift justice against the perpetrators.
