KZN police nab two suspects on way to planned farm attack

Police say their KZN units have foiled an attack on a farm in Vryheid.

They nabbed two suspects - who were allegedly making their way to the northern KZN farm - over the weekend.
The multidisciplinary team began tracking them on the R69 Vryheid Road, where they were cornered and arrested.
Provincial police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda says they were tipped off about two people travelling in a vehicle to Vryheid. They were carrying guns and ammunition. y

.Preliminary investigations have revealed that one of the suspects has been on the police’s wanted list for cases of farm attack, robbery of a firearm and cell phones which he allegedly committed in Paulpietersburg in July 2022.
"He was also being sought for cases of farm attack and attempted murder which happened in Louwsburg, also in July."
