KZN police intensify search for baby abducted during home invasion

Police have intensified their search for a baby boy who was abducted during a suspected home invasion in Welbedacht, south of Durban.

It's understood that the armed suspects broke into the home on Saturday night.
KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says they allegedly robbed the family, before grabbing the infant.

The intruders then fled.
"Police in Chatsworth are appealing to members of the community to assist in the search of a two-month-old baby boy. Anyone who has information us urged to contact the investigating officer on 082 567 4811."
