KZN parents brace for back-to-school shopping
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Many parents are bracing themselves for the back-to-school shopping rush in KZN.

A trade union says while it can be an overwhelming and expensive exercise - it's important for families to do their research beforehand.
Long queues are expected at uniform and stationery shops this weekend, as coastal pupils prepare to return to public schools on Wednesday.
Abigail Moyo, who's with trade union Uasa, says with cost of living expenses on the rise, it would be helpful for parents to shop around for the best deals.
"A parent is usually well informed about what the new school year will cost. They must use this to draw up a budget and do the shopping accordingly and add additional items as they go.
“They must always look out for discounts and promotions before spending on anything they must do comparisons and they must set money aside in case they forget something.”
