KZN officials seize 180kg of dagga, eight arrested

Eight men are due to appear in appear in the Himeville Magistrate's Court on drug-related charges today.

The men were arrested near Bulwer after police received a tip-off last week.
Officers spotted the vehicle on the R-617 and gave chase from Underberg towards Bulwer.

"They cornered the vehicle. That's when they found eight occupants in the vehicle between the ages of 22 and 62. The suspects were then eventually arrested," spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says.
Officers seized seven bags of dagga - weighing more than 180kg. Their vehicle was also impounded.
