KZN mayor in Magaqa murder case to apply for bail

Harry Gwala District mayor, Mluleki Ndobe, will make a bid for bail later this month.
He was arrested with three others at the weekend in connection with the killing of Sindiso Magaqa
Magaqa - who was formerly the secretary general of the ANC Youth League - was gunned down in Umzimkhulu in 2017.
Police arrested another suspect late last year.

"The accused appeared at the Umzimkhulu Magistrate Court today and the matter was remanded to the 25th and 26th of March for a bail application. The accused face two counts of attempted murder and one count of murder."
