KZN matrics ‘ready’ for exams – Education Dept

The Department of Education in KZN says it's
confident the province's matrics are ready to write their final exams.
Over 198 000 full-time and part-time candidates will sit for the National Senior Certificate papers from Monday until the 7th of December.
MEC Mbali Frazer says exam preparations included the Academic Improvement Plan, which is an intensive study program.

She says they want to grow the number of schools that obtain a 100% pass rate and improve Bachelor passes by 5%.
"The reality is that there are other factors which make it difficult to pass all our learners and this is where we say, if you don't obtain 100 percent pass rate, we need to ensure that they can at least obtain less than 80%."
