KZN matric pupils look forward to final results

The wait is almost over for the Class of 2019, pupils who wrote the IEB exams will receive their results at midnight with the NSC candidates getting theirs on Wednesday.

In KwaZulu-Natal, 183 808 learners sat for the matric finals.
Amanda Msthali from Vryheid is one of them.
The 18-year-old Enqabeni Combined School pupil says while she feels nervous, she's hoping for some distinctions.
"I am super nervous, I don't know what to expect, but I'm hoping for the best. I am hoping for a Bachelor's degree with a few distinctions on the side," she said.

Mpho Zulu from Mountview Secondary in Verulam, says he's already proud of himself for making it this far.
"Passing will be an awesome feeling to be honest because I never went this far. Failing doesn't mean you should give up. It means that you should try again over and over until you achieve what you want to achieve," he said.
