KZN man slapped with double life for Glebelands murders

A 30-year-old man from the notorious Glebelands Hostel has begun serving a double life sentence for the murders of four people.

Senzo Cele, who was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition, was handed another 48 years by the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
The NPA's Natasha Kara says the sentences will run separately.

"The murder convictions are in connection with the murder of Simphiwe Ndebele in July 2018, the second murder was of Siyabonga Ndebele in August 2018."
"Cele was also convicted for the double murder of Joseph Ndebele and Senzo Ntuli. All victims died at the crime scene of multiple gunshot wounds."
