KZN man nabbed for killing cop’s son due back in court

A suspect linked to the murder of a police officer's son in KwaMashu is due back in court on Friday.
The 31-year-old was arrested in Durban's Point area this week and made his first appearance in court on Tuesday.
He faces a charge of failure to safeguard firearms.
KZN SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the suspect was caught after a police chase on Tuesday.

He says two pistols and ammunition were found in the man's vehicle.
"Investigations led the investigators to his place of residence in Newlands East, where four rifles and ammunition were found under the bed."
"Further investigations pointed the men of law to his mother's residence in KwaMashu, and upon police arrival, two security guards guarding the premises abandoned their two rifles and fled."
