KZN man in court after drugs seized

A 36-year-old man is due to appear in the Phoenix Magistrate's Court today after police swooped on an Everham home allegedly finding drugs and unlicensed firearms.
Officers say they found 4780 mandrax tablets, 60 straws of heroin and two unlicensed firearms at the premises yesterday.
Seven rounds of ammunition were also recovered.
The firearms will be sent for ballistics testing to determine whether they have been used in any reported crimes.
Provincial Commissioner, Lt General Mmamonnye Ngobeni has applauded police for the arrest.
