KZN libraries, museums prepare to reopen

Three hundred libraries and museums in KwaZulu-Natal are getting ready to reopen their doors.
KZN Arts and Culture says it's in the final phase of preparations in line with COVID-19 rules.
The department says it'll be assisting municipalities across the province with personal protective equipment supplies for staff and the public.

Spokesperson, Phathisa Mfuyo says they were given the green light to reopen public libraries and museums, next month - after an extensive risk assessment was conducted at all these facilities.
She says at libraries a limited number of people will be allowed in at a time.
They'll introduce a staggered reopening plan - to ensure each facility is COVID-19 compliant.
There'll be no guided tours at museums.
