KZN heatwave to continue until Thursday

KwaZulu-Natal residents have been urged to stay hydrated and protect themselves from the sun, as a scorching heatwave continues in the province.

According to the South African Weather Service the high temperatures will affect the entire province until Thursday.
Forecaster Ndirile Modipa say the central and north eastern regions will experience the highest of temperatures.
“With the central and north eastern parts reaching highs of about 37 to 38 degrees Celsius, while the western and southern parts will reach highs of around 35 degrees Celsius.
“The other regions will have consistently higher temperatures than normal for the next three days.”
