KZN Health MEC visits survivors of deadly ANC bus crash

Four of the victims of a fatal bus crash in northern KZN are still recovering in hospital.
The bus overturned near eDumbe in Paulpietersburg on Sunday, killing nine occupants.
It had been ferrying ANC supporters home to Mpumalanga after they attended the party's election manifesto in Durban.
KZN Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane and her Mpumalanga counterpart Sasekani Manzini visited three survivors at the Vryheid Hospital on Monday.

Manzini said they had agreed that the patients would not be transferred at this time.
"That was one of the things we wanted to look at, whether we can transfer them so that they can be closer to their families, but we have agreed to let them get the treatment here. And, also, as far as the issue of postmortem, we are working together with them so that we can be able to assist the families for the purpose of the burial working with the organisation of the African National Congress."
