Marchers submitted their memorandum to department officials on Langalibalele Street on Monday.
Among their grievances are the hiring of inexperienced personnel in higher positions and corruption within the department.

The All Citizens Party, which is supporting junior doctors, says there's a need for more GPs in rural areas. The group's Brian Tloubatla:
"All clinics in South Africa should at least have one doctor who will work full time in attendance to service our community, including in the rural clinics. So, as the ACP, we call upon our governments to save lives, which is featured in our constitution, which is our constitutional right."
