KZN Health condemns murder of a nurse in PMB
KZN Health MEC, Sbongiseni Dhlomo says there's no place for violence against women and children.
Dhlomo's been reacting to the news that an Edendale Hospital nurse was found murdered in her car in Pietermaritzburg earlier this week.
Nompumelelo Ngubane, who was set to get married this weekend, had been shot.
The MEC says the department will visit Ngubane's family ahead of her funeral.
"It is with great sadness to mention that we have lost another nurse from Edendale Hospital - being killed by gun violence. We find it extremely unfortunate that in the month of August we have lost another woman," he said.
