KZN govt will support Zwelithini memorial - Zikalala
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
Premier Sihle Zikalala says the provincial government will give its support to a memorial service organised to commemorate the one-year death anniversary of the late Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.
He's made a statement to clear up the confusion surrounding the issue.
This after Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and Nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, said that the Zulu royal family was concerned by the PEC's remarks that it would be holding a special prayer event this weekend at a venue the family had turned down.

Zikalala says they will be attending the service arranged by the late royal's widows.
"We had no intention to convene a prayer without the royal house.
"We were approached, we responded positively, more so because that was a collective approaching coming from the queens of the late king and in respect of the late king, we then took that."
