KZN govt to help repatriate body of woman who died in Philippines

The government has stepped in to help a northern KZN woman repatriate the
mortal remains of her daughter, who died in the Philippines.
It's after officials received a video of Utrecht resident Lindiwe Myeni making an emotional plea for help to get funds to retrieve her daughters body.
Snegugu, who was a final-year medical student, died at the airport before she could board a flight back to South Africa last week.
Myeni says it was always her child's lifelong dream to serve the people of South Africa.

"My child was determined to complete her studies and come back home to serve her community as a neurosurgeon, but death robbed her of that opportunity.
"She promised me the last time she was home that she would be back in August after her graduation work.
"We are deeply hurt as a family, we don't know what to piece together so we can bring our daughter home."
