KZN floods: Durban family remains hopeful of finding loved ones
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
A Durban family that lost loved ones to the floods say they
are still hopeful they'll find members who are still missing.
The Mdlalose family's home in Inanda collapsed during the heavy rains earlier this month, sweeping ten members into a river.
Six of them, including several children, were laid to rest in Sweetwaters on Saturday.
The remaining four have still not been found.
Speaking on behalf of the distraught family, Linda Gcabashe has asked the public to refrain from circulating graphic videos of flood victims and grieving families.

"There was something that hurt me the most recently when a colleague of mine sent me a video - not knowing that the people in it were my relatives. It showed my granddaughter weeping after they recovered the body of her baby girl.
"That video triggered an unbearable pain inside me that I don't wish on anyone else. So I plead with you that in the midst of this situation, let's not abuse social media."
