KZN father wanted for child murder
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
KwaZulu-Natal Police have launched a manhunt for a man alleged to have slammed his three-month-old daughter on the floor, killing her.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says yesterday the man from Ingwavuma, near Jozini was visiting the infant's mother in KwaMsane and the two had an argument.
He says it's alleged the man wanted to take the child with him, but the mother refused.
"It's alleged that the father then took the child and he banged her on the floor. She sustained serious injuries and she was taken to hospital for treatment. Later this morning the child died.
"We are appealing to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of the father to come forward and give us information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect," he said.
