The Empangeni Magistrate's Court has refused a murder-accused farmer bail.

The 65-year-old is alleged to have taken two women whom he'd met a restaurant, home - and then shot one of them dead.
Police say he instructed the other woman to clean-up and then bundled the body of the deceased into his car and drove off.
The woman later reported the incident to police.
Police say when officers tried arrest the farmer he opened fire on them too but no one was injured.
"The accused appeared in court for a decision on a bail application and the court refused bail in this matter. The accused was remanded into custody and the matter was postponed to the 21st of May for further investigation," Natasha Kara for the NPA in KZN said.
