KZN Education welcomes arrest of robbers targeting teachers

The Department of Education in KZN has welcomed the arrest of three suspected robbers believed to have targeted teachers in Pinetown and Umgungundlovu.
The group has been linked to several robberies, including one at Tholulwazi High School in the west of Durban.
The department's spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi says the suspects appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

"We welcome and applaud the arrest of the people that have been traumatising our schools, robbing our educators of their valuables and traumatising the learners at the schools.
"Most of the schools that were victims of this were schools from Pinetown District and two from the Umgungundlovu District."
